Douglas, GA – A mother and her boyfriend were arrested for the death of a 7-month-old infant in Coffee County.
According to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), an investigation was started at around 9:50 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 when Coffee County 911 received a call for an unresponsive infant at a residence on Kamera Road.
When EMS arrived, it was discovered that Paisley Grace Green-Yawn, 7 months, had no pulse. First responders immediately began life-saving measures and took the infant to Coffee Regional Medical Center, CCSO said.

The sheriff’s office said that medical personnel at the hospital noticed signs consistent with physical abuse. The infant was then transferred to Savannah Memorial Hospital for specialized care.
CCSO said that despite extensive efforts, the infant was pronounced dead three days later on Monday, June 9.
An investigation by CCSO and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) found that the 7-month-old had suffered repeated physical abuse, including head trauma, fractured ribs, and multiple broken bones.

CCSO said on June 6, the infant had been left in the care of 29-year-old Guillermo “Will” Benvenutti Pineda, of Douglas. He is the mother’s boyfriend.
Authorities found that Pineda had a history of abusing the infant.
Further investigation found that 27-year-old Hannah Nicole Green, of Douglas, the infant’s mother, was aware of the ongoing abuse and tried to conceal the evidence and mislead investigators after the incident, CCSO said.
On June 11, both were taken into custody without incident.

Pineda has been charged with the following:
- Malice murder
- Felony murder
- Aggravated battery
- Cruelty to children in the first degree
Green has been charged with the following:
- Cruelty to children in the second degree
- Tampering with evidence
Both Pineda and Green are being held at the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center.
